How to Pack Toiletries Without Making a Mess
Simple packing habits that reduce spills, damp towels and product mix-ups in luggage.
Seal liquids before they go in the bag
Tighten caps, place bottles upright when possible, and use a secondary seal such as a zip pouch for anything that has leaked before.
Keep a small cloth or tissue in the bag so minor spills stay contained.
Isolate wet from dry
Store damp items separately from powders, brushes and cotton tools. If your wash bag has a wet/dry split, use it deliberately rather than filling every pocket the same way.
Pack the bag where you can reach it
Place the toiletry bag near the top of your luggage or in an outer compartment so you are not unpacking clothes to reach toothpaste.
